Requesting your data

Under the Existing Data Protection Act and the forthcoming General Data Protection regulation (GDPR) you have the right to request access to the personal data held by Digital Continuity Limited (Ontinuity).   To make such a request you will need to make a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) by one of the following means outline below.  You can ask for access to to data to the peronal data where a method of access is availible, else we will provide a copy of the data in the relevant form.  

How can I request my personal data?

To submit a request to access or be provided with a copy of you personal data you will need to submit a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR).  On receipt of your request along with photographic proof of your identity in the form of a Passport or Driving License, we will collate the required informtaion and make it availible within one month of the original request being received.

This request will be treated in the stricted of confedence.

Requests of a verbal nature, either in person or via Telephone will not be treated as valid, unless accompanied by one of the highlighed methods above.

Exceptions

Digital Continuity Limited (Ontinuity) is not obliged to comply with repeat data subject requests similar in nature to one that has already been compiled within an existing resonable time frame, or under other exemptions outlined under current regulation.
